What is included in your venue rental?

Every venue rental includes exclusive use of the premises, setup, 200 white resin chairs, 20 round tables (5'), 20 bistro tables and 20 rectangular tables (8').  Every venue rental also includes a 30' x 41' covered event space, rehearsal and bridal portrait access (for wedding rentals), and indoor and outdoor bathrooms. Optional additions include: alcoholic beverages, 30' x 50' event tent, linens, clean-up, fireworks, sparklers, additional servers to assist your caterer and rehearsal dinner venue rental.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Unfortunately, no. You must purchase all alcohol to be consumed on the premises through The Southern Pearl. No alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought onto premises by any party for any reason. Title 35, Part II, Subpart 02 Chapter 5 of the Mississippi Administrative Code states, “No on-premise permittee shall allow alcoholic beverages to be brown-bagged by a consumer / customer on the permitted premises.” However, we do offer an extensive selection of wine, spirits and beer that can be served to your guests for the event.

What do you require to secure my date? When are payments due?

A forty percent (40%) non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date.  All remaining amounts are due thirty (30) days prior to your event.

Do you allow outside vendors?

Of course. We realize that we cannot provide all the services that an event requires, and we want our clients to have their choices respected.  However, we do request a list of your vendors to be provided thirty (30) days prior to your event.

Is there a maximum number of guests for an event?

We are an outdoor venue with certain indoor amenities located on nearly 38 acres of wide open land. We can accommodate most any size crowd, but you may want to keep in mind that we only provide 200 chairs with the venue rental. For larger events, you may have to seek outside vendors to provide additional seating.
